  1. Pace Calculator

It would be awesome if we could get the pacing calculator working for students. I have been sending an alternative calculator to students and explaining to to figure out how many modules to complete each day to reach a "goal date." I know students would love this feature!

  2. Automated Email: Yours Credits Have Been Transferred!

Hi Kate, I propose that we create a box to check in SIS (or something similar) when an adult student's transcript has been audited. We get a large number of phone calls from adults wondering if their transcript has been audited. Even when it already has been, they do not often know that is was audited, or where they can see their transferred credits in their account. An automated email notifying them of their transferred credits along with a quick guide explaining where to see them in their account would reduce confusion/frustration for our adult students and also significantly decrease the volume of phone calls we receive in which staff need to walk an adult through where to find their transfer credits and current/planned courses. Workflow: transcript auditor checks a box when credits are transferred > student receives automated email with quick guide for understanding where to find their transfer credits Thanks for considering, Malini

  3. In enrollments, it would be ideal if there was a filter for "Success Coach."

This will remove the need to have the Google Sheet tracker. No change needs to be implemented immediately, but this one would be a game-changer for the SC role and how we operate.

  4. School Store Updates, Student Information Form

As per our conversation earlier, the SRO would love to see some changes to the way the Student Information Form displays for the students making the order. I think the address fillable sections should be cushioned under a label of "Shipping Address" like it displays on our receiving side, so that students can fill in ONLY the address that they would like it to be shipped to, not their billing address or their mailing address, making it so that they need to put alternative addresses in the notes section. We would likely also benefit from an additional fillable section with the address labeled "Attention" or something to be able to add school names or alternative names for people receiving the document which could be optional like Address Line 2. This could avoid confusion when students are filling out this information so that we can fall back on "you filled out the shipping address section with the following address" if they come back with issues of where the documents were sent. The more clear our form is, the more clear our follow-ups can be! Currently, the top note on file states "Please enter your correct mailing address below. If you need your item(s) sent to another agency, you MUST include their name and FULL mailing address in the notes section below." and we've determined that we are unable to edit this note, and it is applied to all school store items. If we make the address update, this can be adjusted to state "Please enter the address that your package will be shipped to below. If you have any additional details to include, such as requesting electronic delivery for some of your documents, you can include this information in the 'Notes' section below." I think this could help students get a better idea of how their order is being sent, and give some clarity between what we're seeing internally (which says Shipping Address already) and what the student is submitting. I would also love to see some additional information boxes for the guest checkout, since the it isn't linked to the student account, where students can fill out (or the note on the top can include a request for this information in the Notes section) their Student ID, year(s) that they attended, the year they graduated, the school that they attended (helpful when it's IEC, WOLI, or any of our other old programs), and their name when they attended (if they have changed their name since). These are common things that I have to email students to get for their order, and can save me some time if they are prompted to provide this info early, if they have it!

  5. SIS Enrollments page filter - add "preferred name"

Some students go by a different name than their legal name. When searching for an enrollment, having the option to immediately see their preferred name would go a long way to connect with the student on a deeper level, and ensure that we are setting the stage for excellent customer service.

  6. Consistent Search Bar functionality

Search bars in different sections of LearnStage currently don't have consistent requirements, filters, features.

  7. Change tab titles for LearnStage admin pages from always 'SIS Admin' to the name of the page (i.e. "LMS Course" or "EasyGrader Submissions")

Workflow in LearnStage admin often results in several open tabs, and it's hard to differentiate when they are all titled "SIS Admin" with no specificity.

  8. Courses Progress Tracker

It may be helpful for the progress tracker on each course to reflect the percentage of assignments that have been turned in, rather than the number of modules that have been opened. This could help reduce confusion for students who might assume they have completed a course after opening all modules, while still having several assignments left to complete.

  9. Issue with Quiz Scoring | Blank Responses for Numeric Question Type

We are aware of a technical issue where some answers aren't being captured in response to numeric question types, leading to incomplete scoring. The team is investigating the cause and working on solutions to ensure accurate response recording.

  10. Delete Purged IDs

IDs that have been uploaded to files and docs that are NOT verified and have been purged by the system should be deleted from the system altogether or have the ability to delete items using the check box next to File Category to delete items from the list below. That particular check box shows the ability to currently verify all documents, but it would be great to have it be able to select all and then deselect any from the list below that might not need to be verified or deleted, etc. A decline all option would be awesome too. This would save time and also allow any unverified/purged items to be removed. Anything not verified currently shows a red dot, but not being able to verify or delete the item means the red dot will appear forever. This can cause frustration for admin and students alike.

  11. Grade Notifications

Hi LS team! I think it would be helpful to have students receive a notification such as "Your grade has been updated" when their essays or projects are graded. This would not be necessary for quizzes/exams, but students are often waiting for a person or AI to grade their English essays, foreign language projects and other manually graded assignments. When we receive calls/HDTs wondering about their grades, we just have to advise them to keep checking back if they are still inside the grading window. I think it would allow students to worry less/check in less often about their pending grades for manually graded assignments if they knew they would be notified once they were updated. Additionally, many students are initially unaware about how to check the rubric/feedback from their graders. This notification could allow them to click on a link that brings them to the assignment in their account in order to read the feedback. "Click here to see feedback on this assignment." If a link is difficult to develop, the notification could at a minimum include a blurb about how the student can check the grader's feedback by navigating to the assignment in their modules and clicking "View Submission." Misleading to see a celebratory image if the assignment is not passed, could be interpreted as rude.

  14. Time Spent on LearnStage/Each Course

Hi Kate, I have had feedback from several students and families requesting the ability to see how long their student logs in each day. Going a step further, it would be great to see how much time they spend on each course per day. As a success coach who tracks student progress, I would also find these features very helpful. The "login history" tab is helpful to see how which days they log in, but data regarding how many hours they have logged in for a day/week/month/school year, as well as on which course they are spending that time, would be a huge asset to the family login/SIS admin view. 15. Import from Enrollment - Transfer all earned credits option

When merging accounts, we currently have to manually add each credit that we transfer between accounts. Image included The sequence could be: Click "Import from Enrollment" Choose the enrollment that you want to transfer credits from "Transfer All Earned Credits"
